SEGUN ODUNMBAKU ATTENDS AGEGE DAY CELEBRATIONS - OJODU LCDA

The Chairman of Ojodu LCDA Hon Segun Odunmbaku today attended the sociocultural and communal event tagged “Agege Day Celebrations” held at the Agege township stadium today.

Hosted by both Agege Local Government and Orile Agege LCDA, the weeklong celebration had activities like beauty pageant, football matches, religious events and school debates that culminated in a grand finale party and launching of Agege Education Endowment Fund featuring Kwam 1, 9ice and Small Doctor serenading fans with sonorous music on stage.

Chief host and Speaker of the Lagos State House Of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa who attended the event in company of the State legislators said “Agege Day” it’s an exciting moment for every Agege indigene, resident and we’ll wishers to gather and showcase Agege’s rich culture and tradition.

Hon. Segun Odunmbaku commended the organizers and described the event as exceptional occasion that celebrates the spirit of community and society which is both laudable and admirable.

Also in attendance at the event are Commisioner for Culture and Tourism, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile Yusuf, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Hon. Rasheedat Adu, Bldr. Sesan Daini, Hon. Mojeed Balogun,Hon. Princess Samiat Bada and Hon. Ramotalai Hassan.
