ODUNMBAKU BAGS 'EDUCATION-FRIENDLY' AWARD - OJODU LCDA

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon David Olusegun Odunmbaku has been recognized and awarded for being “Education Friendly”. This award plaque was presented at the occasion of Year 2022 Education Officers Conference held at Lagos NUT Pavilion, Ikeja on Wednesday 16th November.

This accolade is a testament to Odunmbaku’s commitments towards uplifting the educational standards of Ojodu LCDA through various initiatives such as the distribution of free GCE and jamb forms, financial incentives and remuneration to boost teachers morale, donation towards utility vehicle, provision of school bags and necessary paraphernalia for students amongst other initiatives.

The Head of Department, Education and Library Services Mrs. Belo Ganiyat took receipt of the award on behalf of the Mayor amidst fanfare.

The annual event was attended by Chairman LGSC, Permanent secretaries of Ministry of Education and LG Establishment and Pensions, Chairman of Body of Council Managers, Director Agency for Mass Education amidst other dignitaries
