OJODU LCDA CHAIRMAN PRESENTS ₦9.9BN 2026 “BUDGET OF SUSTAINABLE GROWTH FOR ALL ” TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

In a significant move to enhance the financial and infrastructural development of Ojodu LCDA, key officials attended the City Academy on Finance and Equity (CAFE). The esteemed event was organized by The C40 Cities Finance Facility in collaboration with the City Climate Gap Fund.

The delegation from Ojodu LCDA included the Chairperson, Mrs. Abimbola Odunmbaku, Council Manager, Engr. Akitoye Olubunmi; Council Treasurer, Mr. Ibrahim Oladapo and Chief Planning Officer Mr. Ademola Gafarr. Their participation underscores Ojodu LCDA’s commitment to addressing climate risks through sustainable and equitable urban infrastructure.

The C40 Cities Finance Facility is renowned for its role in bridging the gap between cities’ climate infrastructure projects and the necessary financing. The City Academy on Finance and Equity aims to equip city officials with essential concepts, approaches, and tools to plan and finance sustainable and equitable infrastructure projects. Additionally, it offers insights into various financing instruments, enabling participants to better assess and leverage them for impactful projects.


The event serves as a platform for cities worldwide to exchange knowledge and collectively undertake transformative actions on sustainable and equitable climate infrastructure while the Olusegun Odunmbaku o continues to champion initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Ojodu LCDA residents and staff through it’s innovative HEYS Agenda.
