Ojodu LCDA Celebrated at 10th Lagos PR Industry Gala Awards - OJODU LCDA

Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) proudly marked a historic milestone on Friday, December 12, 2025, as the spotlight fell on its leadership during the 10th Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala Awards (LAPRIGA) at the prestigious MUSON Centre, Lagos.

At the glamorous ceremony, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, was honoured with the Grassroots Governance Excellence Award. Notably, he stood out as the only Local Government Chairman in Lagos State to receive this distinguished recognition at this year’s edition.

Hon. Odunmbaku’s leadership has been consistently praised for its youth-focused, technology-driven, and innovation-led approach. His administration’s emphasis on digital transformation, community empowerment, and modern governance practices has positioned Ojodu LCDA as a model for effective grassroots administration in Lagos State.

The award was formally received on his behalf by Hon. Olaide Bello, former Secretary to the LCDA, who represented him at the event.
