Ojodu LCDA rolls out events to celebrate two years of administration….
As part of the activities to mark it’s “2 Years In Office Programme” and showcase the achievements towards realization of it’s H.E.Y.S Development Agenda, the Olusegun Odunmbaku administration would be holding series of events that have been lined up to celebrate the milestone of it’s quality service to the people of Ojodu LCDA.
The events would begin with sales of subsidized food items on Wednesday at the council’s secretariat for residence of the local council area.
The Subsidy Removal Palliatives tagged everything one thousand naira (#1000) to residents is aimed at complementing the efforts of the State and Federal Government.
There would also be the second edition of the Widow Food Bank, SME and Business Management Training to empower and upscale entrepreneurs and small business owners in Ojodu LCDA while indepth skill acquisition and vocational training for youths through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with KENNOL would be unveiled.
Exclusive Media parley to engage and interact with the Press to give insights and information about the activities and achievements of the Olusegun Odunmbaku administration would be held and interactive sessions would also hold on social media in line with the Chairman’s open door policy.
The second edition of Teachers Empowerment Programme is also part of the noble event in order to encourage and reward performance to boost efficiency and effectiveness in schools; a Job Fair to secure gainful employment for youths; and launching of the OjoduNextGenZ – a platform to discover talents and creative minds in Ojodu LCDA would also be held.
