The Administration and Human Resources Department provides effective support to the Local Council Development Area. The Department is responsible for Human Resources Planning, Organisational Structure, Leadership Control and Office Administration.
In a nut shell the Department is responsible for Co-ordination, Setting a direction and Supervision of all the activities of all Human Resource and Administrative functions to ensure effective support service within the organization.
Also for effective service delivery, the Admin and HR Department has five (5) functional units. Namely,
The Workforce, Planning and Recruitment unit. Learning and Development unit. Employee Relations unit. HR Measures and Accountability unit. General Administration unit.
