HON. ODUNMBAKU, IKEJA POLITICAL LEADERS PAY CONDOLENCE VISIT TO LATE HON. OLAKANLE'S FAMILY - OJODU LCDA

Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, alongside a high-profile delegation of political officeholders from Ikeja Federal Constituency paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, today Monday, November 4, 2024. Hon. Olakanle, fondly known as “Dotcom,” passed away on November 2, 2024, at age 54.

In the delegation were Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly), Engr. Mojeed Balogun (Executive Chairman, Ikeja LGA), Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi (Vice Chairman, Ojodu LCDA), Hon. Yomi Mayungbe (Vice Chairman, Ikeja LGA), Hon Ayotunde Adenuga (House Leader, Ikeja LGA), Hon Opeyemi Apatira (House Leader, Ojodu LCDA), (SLG, Ikeja LGA) Hon Akeem Dauda, (SLG, Ojodu LCDA) Hon Olaide John Bello and other political figures from the constituency.

Hon. Odunmbaku expressed his grief over the loss, describing Olakanle as a trusted colleague and friend in council matters. He emphasized the importance of living purposefully, as the sudden death of Olakanle reminds everyone of life’s fragility. He pledged the support of the leaders in the burial arrangements.

Hon. Kasunmu and Hon Mojeed Balogun representing the leadership of Ikeja Constituency, also conveyed heartfelt condolences, describing the late chairman as a humble and dedicated public servant.

May Hon. Oladotun Olakanle’s soul rest in peace.
