BLESSED ASH WEDNESDAY - OJODU LCDA

On this solemn occasion of Ash Wednesday, I join Christians in Ojodu LCDA and across the world in marking the beginning of the Lenten season—a time of repentance, reflection, sacrifice and renewal.

As we embark on this 40-day journey of spiritual discipline, let us embrace the core values of humility, love and selflessness, which are essential in fostering unity, peace and development within our society. This period reminds us to seek God’s grace, extend kindness to one another and uplift those in need through acts of charity and service.

I encourage us all to use this Lenten season as an opportunity for introspection and positive transformation, ensuring that our actions align with the virtues of faith, hope and compassion. Let us also pray for the continued growth and prosperity of our dear Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
