HON. DAVID ODUNMBAKU REKINDLES HOPE OF OJODU COMMUNITIES
The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Odunmbaku has reiterated the commitments of his administration towards fulfilling all his campaign promises. “As we have a lot of grounds to be covered, we would ensure that all our campaign promises are kept to the latter”, he said.
The Council boss made this known at a familiarization meeting held with the Community Development Associations (CDA) and Community Development Committees (CDC) in Ojodu LCDA at the Council Hall.
It was a forum where the CDAs and CDCs got acquainted with the new Council boss while also expressing their expectations, needs and requests as they affects their respective communities.
While reacting to the teeming yearnings of various representatives of the CDAs and CDCs, which bordered on issues such as security, flooding and drainages, empowerment, education, enforcement of bye laws etc., Hon. Odunmbaku expressed his knowledge of the issues raised, but called for unalloyed support of the Committees and Associations in ensuring adequate synergy needed to achieve positive results.
In furtherance to the above, the Chairman affirmed that “all resources at our disposal shall be deployed towards safeguarding lives and properties of the citizens, which is the primary duty of any responsible and responsive government; ensuring that the devastating impact of COVID-19 is greatly reduced and prompt vaccinations made available to all; also making sure that our public schools are ICT compliant with the infusion of skills acquisition and vocational trainings; uplifting the standard of our Public Health Centers (PHC) with more doctors and providing subsidized drugs”.
